What a broken system
Overcharged my card THREE times. Considering it was a car hire via my insurance provider (Discovery - they can do one as well), I’m amazed a hire car which is provided has cost me R3000 the Friday before Xmas. A mere TWO weeks after I returned the vehicle in perfect condition and guess what? I was overcharged for my deposit too. Now I need to get on a call with the bank just to figure out how much of my money Avis ACTUALLY has and needs to refund. Happy holidays! /s

The holding deposit of R2000 and R708.58 were not debits in your account, but amounts we held in your account and gets released automatically back to your available balance by your bank.
