We try harder... to waste people's time

<p>Avis Pretoria CBD was scheduled to deliver a vehicle to me at a panel beater. They chose the time and insisted on delivery of the vehicle at 10am despite my offer that we could do it any time that is convenient for them. They then arrived 25minutes late claiming that there was traffic. It then turns out that their card machine doesn't work - because the driver did not check that it has paper inside. So we had to go to their office which turned out to be 2.3km and 7minutes away from the panel beater. They could not explain why they were late despite when I pointed this out. The whole exercise took an hour instead of 5 minutes and the supposed convenience of getting a delivery was clearly a blatant lie since I had to go to their office in any event. Terrible service.</p>
