Upselling Insurance AVIS CAR HIRE

Car Hire Limitations - Post Accident Outsurance provided Car Hire under our Policy.

Avis Car Hire supp**** the car without Third Party Liability Cover as they claimed Outsurance does take this cover on their car hire.

I declined the car and sent the car back.

Avis upsells this cover at a substantial R60 per day. This would be additional cost to the insured. Totaling cost close to R1650 a month which is substantially more that our normal insurance comprehensive cover.

Driving a car without Liability is financial suicide and intelligent individual would know the consequences thereof.

Minutes later I received a call from Outsurance Clarifying that the Liability cover is in place. Avis Staff had that wrong....Really Avis?

Highly unlikely you know what you are doing is wrong!
