Very poor service and unprofessional customer service. once they have your card details they can do as they please without your authorization by transacting unknown transactions in your account.

i rented a car from their branch in Secunda for 3 months. When i returned it the inspection was completed and i later got an sms confirming that the minor damages on the vehicle will cost up to R3200. a day alter on the 16th of June R5200 was deducted from my account and i could not get help from their customer service when i called., i was instead referred to the branch which gave me the same number to call their central office customer service which i had called over a dozen times without any assistance. i held on for years being transferred from pillar to post without any concrete assistance. The branch to refused to give me a breakdown of cocts and insisted that i must download their app which i did. the app requested for my banking details to finalize the registration and as soon as i did that another 13k transaction went off my account on the 19th of June.

i tried calling to understand the cost but their lines keep telling me they are dealing with a lot of customers and they are unable to help and i must write an email which they will respond to within 24 hours. I have written several emails to them without a response and they keep deducting my account. Such ************ business practices -to this day i am still awaiting for them to pay me back my security deposit and show me a breakdown of cost without success. Avis will corn you out of your money once you swipe your credit card. you will spent more money on telephone calls and time going from pillar to post to recover money from them.

i have now resorted to freezing my bank account until i have recovered my funds from them which is so inconveniencing and my life is literally on hold with them holding me to ransom without any reasonable cause.
