Unprofessional service
Due to my vehicle being ****** in December, my insurer had provided me with a courtesy vehicle. On 24/11/17, I had received the vehicle from the Downtown branch in Durban. The branch is very dark and one cannot see the condition of the vehicle properly. I even mentioned to the guy handing me the vehicle and I cannot see anything, all he said that they are moving because of the bad lighting. He only marked down what was visible because of the bad lighting.
When I returned the vehicle on the 23/11/17, the vehicle was picked up in broad daylight from my offices in Umhlanga. Upon checking the vehicle, the guy saw a small scratch directly under the number plate which was not visible in the bad lighting.
on 24/11/17, I received a sms stating that my deposit of R1350. will be taken for this damage. I called in to the branch and was told that there was no manager available to assist but they will call me back on that Monday. Up until date, he has not called me back. I then spoke to Jason Claasen who said he will investigate and will get back to me, up until date he has not contacted me.
on 4/12/17, I called into the customer service, spoke to Natasha, said they will get back to me but I am still waiting.
I sent an email on the 20/12/17, explaining the situation and requesting my money back as it was their incompetence due to the bad lighting. I still not received a reply from them up till date.
Further to my complaint, I receive a message on 9/01/18, stating that I now owe them another amount of R971.77/
I have not received one mail or one phone call to speak to me and let me know what is happening but has the audacity to tell me that I am owing them money and have 7 days to respond.
I would like to have my money back as this is not my fault and should take responsibility of their bad service and actions.
