unprofessional ******* conduct

This was my email to customer services Avis:

I hired an i10 from Budget at Lanseria on 6 March 2017. There was no one in the parking lot to check the car when I left but when I returned the next day the gentleman found a small bump on the back driver’s side door. He put it down to the door being opened on some object. I, however, had ONLY used the Driver’s door and the boot so that could not have happened on my watch. He asked if he could retain the agreement on which I signed that there was no person to check the car when I left the previous morning.

It should also be noted that the car that was allocated to me was not the car I was given… was this a ploy to get someone to pay for a bump that was caused by someone else???

I have just noticed that YOU have taken the liberty of charging my credit card for this bump…which by the Consumer Protection Act is *******. Also, the rental charge and the “damage” claim do not add up to the amount charged to my credit card. You have charged in excess of this amount!!!

I did call customer services on the 10 March 2017 and spoke to Sharnay (at 12h53) who promised that the issue was being resolved…clearly not if I have been charged for this!

Could this issue be resolved as soon as possible?

To this I have received 2 no reply email responses...one that they having a technical problem, the other that they received it over a non-working day.

Also, my credit carded was charged on the day of hire NOT the day I returned the vehicle and it was in excess of teh amount smsed to me by at least R500.

Idiots or *******???
