I leased a vehicle from Avis through my insurance as per usual procedure I paid a deposit to Avis. The conditions are that the vehicle must be in the same state that I the user received it. The vehicle was delivered to my home with a little less than a full tank. When I took back the vehicle I ensured that the vehicle was EXACTLY how I received it, with a little less than a full tank. Upon returning the vehicle, the Avis employee told me that the car had to have a full tank I then told him that I did not receive the car in the same state and he insisted that the car had a full tank when it left Avis and therefore I should return in a full tank.

Avis, please advise how you expect clients to return the car as they found it, however you insist on making the client return something which was never given to them in the first place?
