<p>Booked a hire car from Avis Gaborone branch. Had to do an online payment to complete reservation. No reference number or reservation number issued. Was clearly told payment would not be processed if booking was denied if car was not available. Payment was processed. Car was not available. Payment not reversed. Customer services helpline does not answer phones. Given the run around from customer services who cannot resolve issue and refund total amount paid for a booking that was not completed. Shocking service. ********** customer service. Frustrating experience. Am now out of pocket for a car hire transaction that will not take place, after being told no payment would be made. </p>
