To many excuses

I rented a vehicle from Avis in Port Elizabeth on March 25, 2021.Just for a day. I returned it the following day at 11h00... way before 12h30 as per my contract - (I rented another from a different company due to a availability crisis) Two amounts was deducted from my Chard- the cost of the day's rental and the usual deposit required) Almost two months later (today is May 18, 2021) and four visits later I still haven't received my money. I took all my bank statements as proof of the deductions and non-payment. I've been told we have an amount pending and should reflect within 48 hours. Two weeks later... I dropped by again...after no payment was done...I was told "we will phone you back" ..... nothing was done. Today I was told to wait another 24 hours for a call. Now I was wondering??? ... what happened to the pending amount?
