<p>I borrowed a car, filled it up and drove 2km from petrol station to airport to catch flight. Now i see my bank statement, charged me for 55 litres of fuel! How is it possible that your rep at OR Tambo, gets in the car and sees that the car is full, do you charge me for an entire tank. Contact customer care and they say i have signed for a fuel "estimate".. Here is the response from them "</p> <p>"Kindly be advised that we have received feedback from the branch regarding the fuel dispute and they have confirmed that the you signed for the estimated amount that is for the fuel up front that was sold to your over the counter at the branch."</p> <p> </p> <p>I rented a car from them 5 days before this and there was no issue, brought the car back full and no problems. Now this time i got some clever person at the desk, asked me if i wanted to pay R15 a day in case i needed to have emergency call out - so i said yes ok, thats R60 , if i need to call you it's R350 so i said ok fine. How can this relate to a fuel estimate</p> <p> </p> <p>Moreover, the tank was full, so they estimated that the car would need another 55 litres, another full tank. Absolute joke and a bunch of conniving *******.</p> <p> </p> <p>Really disappointed, as the first experience on the first rental was great.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
