THEFT OF DEPOSIT

First correspondence:

Good Day Whitney

Thank you for your response.

My rental was booked through Discovery and all the info I have is the following:

Avis Reservation number: ********** 0ZA6

Vehicle was collected on the 20th/21st May and it was returned on the 18th July.

I just think the customer service is shocking considering I went from pillar to post with an ever so chirpy Natasha(who couldn't help me and told me to contact the call centre who advised me that my funds were in a suspense account as my details were captured incorrectly) however when I called the second time and to Ibrahim(At least Ibrahim had a better attitude) to Wilson(who put me on hold for over 10minutes because he clearly didn't know what he was doing) .

I have been advised that my funds should reflect by Tuesday if not Thursday, so I patiently wait. I think the most concerning issue as well is I was not given options however when I dropped the vehicle off I observed that the white man in front of me was supp**** options and even my consultant at Discovery asked if I was supp**** options of which my response was NO.

I am hoping my funds will be returned however as mentioned, customer service needs to be looked into at your branch and better communication and attitude adjustments need to be made.

Thank you,

26 July

I receive a call from Wilson who asks me to confirm my banking details however he tells me that it will take another 3 days to be reimbursed.

I have decided to open a case of theft against Avis as my deposit has BEEN ******!

The service from you guys is APPALING!
