The waiting period

<p>I went to the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape from 4 July - 9 July 2016. I hired a car from AVIS Grahamstown also for that time period. All went well and the man told me that my holding deposit will be released in 7 days. I waited the 7 days and called him every day. He took my number everytime I called him and he only called me back once and when he did not call me back he said that he lost my number . He said he will send my notification in. After 16 days of waiting for my holding deposit I called the head office of AVIS to ask them to assist me. They told me that he only sent the notice in on the 14th waiting day period. I received my holding deposit within 3 hours after talking with AVIS Head office. Why did this man only sent it in after 14 days? Why did he not call me back or gave me feedback on what's happening?</p> <p> </p>
