The rented car will probably be okay but return of the deposit might be problematic

The interactions were good initially but unfortunately short-lived. I am a very cooperative person, i.e. you ask me for information and documents, I send them to you ASAP because I want to enable you to do your job. So I get extremely unimpressed when I have to chase companies to do the right and just thing. After I returned a clean and non-damaged car, the very next day the money was taken from my account for the e-tolls which was correct and I have issues with that. But I expected that the return of the balance of the deposit I'd paid would be treated with an equal amount of urgency, a week or two at most but no, I have had to be calling and asking for updates on the payments and be promised to receive a call back with confirmation from the bank, Very unimpressed.
