The extra mile

On April 9, 2021, my female friend, who was driving alone after dark, went offline en route from OR Tambo Airport to Modimolle. I called Avis, hoping and praying that I picked the correct car hire company. Due to insufficient airtime (Murphy's Law!), my conversation with Ntombe was cut short before she could confirm my friend's whereabouts. To my astonishment Ntombe returned my call within two minutes, assuring me that they located my friend only 10 minutes away from our rendezvous point. Ntombe, I will forever be grateful for your compassion, swift response, and, above all, for returning my call.
