Temporary hold not released

I booked online via Rentalcars on the /08/08/17 to collect the vehicle on the same day at 6pm and return on the 21/08/2017 and an amount R1606.06 left my account however after reading where it said the driver's licence needs to be 1 year old. I immediately called the call center and advised the lady that my licence will be 1 year old on 24/08/2017 and advised me I don't qualify to hire a car. I cancelled the booking a few minutes after making it and called Customer service and spoke to Dineo who advised me she will release the funds manually from her side and will take 48 hours for it to reflect. I called again and I was advised that the funds were released and I called my bank who advised that funds were not released back into my account.
