Sick and tired of poor customer care service at avis

My insurance hired a car for me at avis and i had to pay a deposit out of my pocket. I have returned the car on the 4th of August and was suppose to be refunded of my deposit, but since then is been almost 3 months and the deposit still not payed and i have been doing follow ups on why it is not yet paid to no avail.
