Shocking Avis service
Avis is slolwy becoming the worst rental business. I have rented vehicles since July this year having moved away from Thrifty Car Rental because they are no longer around. In the past weeks I have learned that they have not been releasing my holds(deposits) back into my bank balance. This has been ongoing since September until December. I have complained to Lungile Hadebe at the ORT Tambo Airport. I gave her receipts and the required data. She evidently saw the deposits that are held on her PC. Till today she has not assisted, gotten back to me or returned my mails.
I did my best to be civil and patient but I can see that nobody wants to assist at Avis and at this point I am just losing it. I also want to move away with this ***** of a rental business called Avis.
I will not stop until I get my money back because this is ab****ely insane.

07 Jan 2025, 16:51Here is a booking confirmation where I paid R4,767.90 online. When I got to the Branch at OR Tambo they held R3,200.00 as a deposit. The vehile was returned a day earlier but till today I still have not received my deposit back into my bank balance.

07 Jan 2025, 16:53Avis booking confirmation is 1***-ZA-2 DONE ON THE 22/12/2024 AT 19:34. The lady that helped at the Branch is Lungile Hadebe. He ran a manual transaction for the deposit. I need my money back.
