Rental invoices
Please take time to open and scrutinize your invoice after returning your rental. I almost fell prey to ***** upon returning my rental, with a full tank of petrol, to the workshop where l picked up my own vehicle. I dropped the rental at 09:00, the Avis driver collected it at 09:30 and booked it in at Avis in the afternoon. Avis consultants proceeded to bill me for a full tank of petrol and became extremely stroppy with me upon querying the invoice with them. I had petrol slips as proof, and witnesses who corroborated my story. After reporting them to Discovery Insurance, they have the audacity of telling me that THEY have decided to return the money reserved for the fuel, as if they had a choice not to. Please open and read the invoices sent to you. I wonder how many people fall prey to this kind of ***** just because they don’t have the time to download Adobe or trust that all is in order.

Thank you for returning MY money.
I was treated like l was at fault and lying about filling up the vehicle. I was told that l was given the “benefit of the doubt”…..where is the outcome of your investigation??? I have proof that l filled up, now give me proof that the car was on empty!

Why was there no root cause given either?
Why didn’t no one know that the car was booked in the afternoon with an empty tank?
Why was Liezl abrupt with me and treating me as if it was my fault?
The money was only refunded because l identified the *****.
