Rental Deposit just missing

Security Deposit just missing not refunded. So I returned my rental car on 26 August 2026. With a full tank and no damage. I was assured my *** would be refunded. As of today more then a month later my *** security deposit is still not returned. I have followed up on multiple occasions and no one seems to know where my money is. I contacted my bank to confirm if the transaction was successful and they confirmed. I have sent *** after ***. I have called and called and every time I am told that they will investigate and get back to me. This is disgusting Avis and borderline *******. It's giving you are trying to rip me off. With all my woe with this whole process as per previous complaints, I am completely put off from ever using Avis again. Can I claim interest from Avis for keeping my money longer than they should. When I followed up on Friday the person spoke of a previous rental refund that was done. When I sent the agreement for the *** deposit, nobody has come back to me. Avis You should be ashamed of yourselves.
