Refundable deposit not released
I Basil Miller Rented a vehicle on th15th May 2022 from Avis Monument Krugersdorp. I had to pay R1500 holding deposit when collecting the vehicle and it is refundable between 10- 30days. I returned the vehicle on the 19th May 2022 .
To date I have not received the refundable R1500 . I called Avis twice with no success. The Avis consultant at the call centre on both occasions indicated that he will get their bank to release the money in my bank account immediately. My first call to Avis call centre on the 15th June 2022 and again on the 20 June 2022. On the 21st June 2022 , I spoke to my bank, and they indicated that not communication was received from avis or their bank.

Our team sent the request to the bank. On the 20th of June, it was confirmed that the hold of R1500.00 was still pending. We sent an instruction to your bank on the same day so they release the hold.
When the hold is released, it will simply increase your available balance. You need to monitor your balance to see the increase.
