Random debits on my credit card

<p>I received an Avis rental via my insurance co while my vehicle was in for a repair. When i returned the vehicle it had a flat tyre (it happens) on the 15th of July i received an sms informing me that the damage amounted to R2542.68 which sounded a little high so i lodged a dispute and requested proof of the cost as well as an invoice. My card then had a debit reservation go through for Avis for R1731.94 on the 20th which i queried, still no explanation.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then on the 25th i received an invoice made out to AS400 for the amount of R1334.91 for a supposed tyre replacement in an email from customer care saying they will credit me for R1083 for the bumper damage (what bumper damage? first i heard of this) but i guess a credit is a good thing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today is the 27th and still no invoice made out to me or any clear explanation for the charges and guess what, another credit card debit went off my account to Avis today for an amount of 3012.70. So again i called to query it and customer care has no idea why or who debited me.</p> <p> </p> <p>Crazy how a company like this can just debit my card for these random amounts without explanation or invoicing? someone needs to answer for this and get my situation rectified.</p> <p> </p> <p>This has to me the worst experience of incompotence i have had ever and it just seems to get worse as the days go by.</p>
