Proprietary Prejudiced

On the 12/04/2014 I took a weekend rental and the return date was supposed to be on the 14/04/2014 unfortunately on the 13/04/2014 I was involved in an accident. While in hospital the same branch consultant who assisted with the rental called requesting for my credit card CVV number to process an outstanding amount aof which I comp****,later I learned that he was trying to process an amount of R5000.00 for weekend cover which was not included in the contract. I've been using their service numerous times and as per their process if you do not have such an amount for a weekend rental they won't assist you however this time everything was processed, contract generated and I wasn't made aware of such agreement,with all prior rentals I always took weekend cover and all small covers ( wear and tear, windscreen etc) it was a consulted legal duty to inform me that he didn't include the weekend cover which I also learned later from the branch manager that such a cover its optional?!<br> I'm faced with bills that I must pay for a write off vehicle due to negligence made by a consulted,omitting to disclose facts, I wouldn't have agreed if I knew about this and no one wants to hear my side.
