Pay back my money

I hired a car back in December 2020, and returned the car early January 2021. I have yet to receive my 1500 refund/deposit, it has been more than a month .. Avis told me to contact my bank to release the authorization however there was nothing to release, I have contacted avis numerous of times but no help . I do not know what to do to get my money back
