Overdue Deposit Refund

I rented a car from Avis Amanzimtoti 10-09-15 to 19-09-2015. I returned the car on the 19th and the deposit that I was told by the rental consultant that would be paid within 7 days is still not paid. I called the branch 3 times and they told me they were waiting for the bank to release the funds. To date there has been no payment and no communication from them. I am very upset because if I was the one keeping their car they could have gotten me locked up. But they are holding onto my money comfortably. Is this a power game? Is this how Avis *****s money from poor customers? Please release my money.
