over-billing by R2k

<p>I rented a car with Avis Friday 3 Feb (13:30) to Sunday 5 Feb (18:00). Confirmation number ********** 5ZA5 and quoted rental R2122.01 for ****m. I used my SAA voyager miles to pay for a 2-day weekend rental, and opted to pay cash for the additional day, which I was quoted +-R1000 for. I returned the vehicle, having driven +-680km. My SAA miles covered the 2 day rental, I extended the rental to pay cash for an extra day, and had to pay 5.96 per km extra (+- R476.80 for the b0km). I expected to be charged no more than R1500 from my rental, but was instead charged R3525, additional to my 28333 voyager miles. I called AVIS on the 14 Feb about this and spoke to a consultant called Thulisile Mayisa, I then followed-up with an email directly to her but she has never gotten back to me and it’s 7 days later. I request that this matter be resolved as a matter of urgency because I have been charged R2000 more than I was supposed to and this money should be refunded back to my credit card.</p>
