Not paying back my deposit money

I was referred to this company by my insurance for car hire, they wanted a deposit of R1500 which was paid immediately on cash. We got an sms from the company after 2weeks to return the car which we did. Got there car was assessed and they verbalized that they will deposit the money into our account between 3-7days.this was on the 6th December 2019. I called again after 7days because the money was not reflecting on our account. I was told they found a chip on the windscreen and I told them that when the car was inspected on return there was no such thing, I was told they will deduct R450 from my money for administrative cost for the chip, I refused that nonsense. They said they will get the manager to call me and that never happened. Called again several times and kept on telling me about 3-7days.still today no money has been paid in my account. Today it's 8 January 2020.no money in my account, nothing has been paid in my account after calling weekly and my husband going to the menlyn brunch several times. This is pathetic and annoying
