No deposit returned with zero communication

I’m extremely disappointed in my service with Avis. I returned my rental more than 12 working days ago and I am yet to receive my deposit. I have phoned in just to be put on hold for over 10 minutes and get no help. I have sent emails regarding my deposit and no answer. I have no idea what more to do but this is unacceptable.

Good day Juliet Naude,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Kindly be advised that there is no refund due as you paid an amount of R2750.00 and your rental charges were adjusted to the same amount.

We have emailed you the copy of the invoice for your perusal .

Best Regards,

The Avis Team

Best regards,

There should be no rental charges as I pay a monthly fee for car hire with my insurance just proving how misleading and *****ulent this is. I work for an insurance company so it is not that I am misinformed.
It should not be referred to as a deposit then, you literally mislead me when fetching the vehicle which is ridiculous. I have no interest in ever doing business with your company again.
**** service. Lying and misleading. Poor attitude in terms of responses. I wish I could post the emailed response screenshot here.
Genuinely hope your competitors put you out of business before your lack of service does.

Good day Juliet,

Thank you for your response.

Kindly be advised that the rental period was for 53 days, however, Discovery only paid for 43 days of the rental and the remaining 10 days were billed to you directly. Furthermore, you were billed for e-tolls and the Windscreen & Tyre Damage waiver.

You will need to contact Discovery directly, and should they wish for us to transfer the extra days to the voucher and refund you, they will need to send us an extension email.

Best Regards,

The Avis Team

Best regards,

I have been paying for 60 days car rental hire - therefore the deposit MUST be paid back to me as I did not use the car for longer than the period.
The windscreen nor the tolls have been disputed or brought up - that is not my problem.
My issue is your misleading statements when fetching the vehicle along with the poor assistance and service I have received.
There was no tyre damage discussed? Again, misleading.
