NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

We had guests staying with us at a hotel in Camps Bay who were told there car would be delivered by Avis at 10:00. At around 11:00 they we still waiting so we attempted to reach the Strand Street branch to find out were the car was - what a complete disaster! They have those stupid prerecorded messages and you cannot actually get through to talking to anyone. The message states that Avis clients must call their customer care line - NO MUCH CARING - line rings then cuts off. Very frustrating not being able to reach anyone especially when you have international guests waiting in front of you. Decided then to try the CTI Airport line because there is always someone efficient and helpful there right? Very very wrong! I was waiting on the line for over 30 min and still no one could assist. Was highly embarrassing to our international guest and despicable service. Absolutely disgusting and I was completely ashamed. They car eventually arrived and the driver never even apologized what horrible service is that? I will NEVER EVER be recommending them ever.
