Never Returned Deposit

<p>I hired a car, paid R1,200 deposit.</p> <p>Exactly 7 days after returning car, (6 Aug) R699,96 was debited from my account for insurance.</p> <p>After I phoned, emailed twice and finally went in to a branch they said the deopsit had been released from their side, it was now up to me to go to my bank and make enquiries. I have and nothing is refecting on my bank statements. I rented the car in July, it is now September and I am still waiting for Avis to return R1,200. </p>
