NEVER RENT FROM AVIS

I rented a vehicle with avis and was charged R434 for a nail that was in the tyre! How ridicilous is that! How can you charge someone R434 to plug a tyre if a tyre plug is R40! You charged me for a whole tyre! NEVER RENT FROM AVIS. Furthermore on the outgoing inspection- no tyres was checked - so how do you know it is me who got the nail in the tyre???? Reservation number E***

Please be advised that if there is damage found on the car, we charge a fee to repair the damage plus a damage administration fee.

Hi Evinevin,

Our team check the vehicle before handing it over to you including the tyres. If there was an issue with the tyres they would provide another car.
