NEVER EVER choose Avis, unless you want your deposit ******!

I recently rented a car from Avis for 19 days. Upon returning the car I was informed that everything would be in order, and that I would receive my deposit back within seven business days. At the time of writing this review, February 5th 2021, I have still not received my deposit back, and it has been nine business days. I contacted Avis multiple times, and was ensured on three separate occasions that I would receive my deposit back, which was R3452.86, within two days. This kind of service is unacceptable. Avis have ****** my deposit and are indirectly refusing to give it back. This is the second time that Avis have ****** my deposit. The first time was in January 2020, and they had ****** R4250. I strongly urge everyone to NEVER EVER rent from Avis again. They are a company that ***** your money and breach their own rental agreement contract. This has happened on two separate occasions. I will be taking all necessary action to recover what Avis has ****** from me. This is a company that I shall never do business with again, nor will I recommend anyone to rent from Avis.
