Never again

<p>I rented a car to travel to PMB on the weekend, and the branch assured me that the deposit would be released immediately after I delivered the vehicle. </p> <p>I waited a day and then called to follow up when the PMB branch then told me the release actually takes 7 days. They offered to fast track. (If I had been told this in the first place I would have made another plan)</p> <p>So now, three days later I spend a fortune on call time to speak to the contact centre. Gift confirms my suspicion that the rental contract does not actually mention this timeline, and that's ok because, "the sales person at the branch is supposed to tell you about that". This is NOT CPA compliant.</p> <p>Now, my debit orders will all bounce tomorrow because Avis and Budget dont care about South African consumer law. So when I get the bills for the bounces I'll be invoicing them, and they can let the bureau know that the negative credit score is their fault.</p> <p> </p> <p>I'll never use this company again. I recommend that you dont either!</p>
