Just don't do it!

Following my experience with Avis, it is my opinion that you should look somewhere else for a car rental. The service is disgusting. I hired a car in October. They sent me an sms saying that I had an amount outstanding on the car hire (no problem). I proceeded to email the address on the sms as well as call the number - repeatedly. I even tried to go through reservations. Nothing. No response to my request for the invoice so that I could make payment. Then they handed me over to a collection agency (with my ID number so it affects my credit record) and after the third phone call from them requesting payment and me telling them for the third time that I was happy to make payment but I needed the invoice / account I have now decided to share this experience. There are no words to describe this company or my experience. I will never use them again and fully intend to share this experience with others so that they do not have to go through the same thing. Just don't do it!
