i want my refund ! AVIS AMANZIMTOTI !!
I was involved in a car accident , my insurance had to arrange a car for me through avis , i paid my R2000 deposit for a KWID. I returned the car the following week , washed and filled up. I have not had my deposit since May. I was stressed during the ordeal I had to go through after the accident , my life was turned upside down. The car was not hired for pleasure people!! For Avis to hold my money for absolutely no reason it's pathetic. I need my money back , i want my money back. I am not rich , i have people to feed , every cent counts!!

As you may be aware, when a deposit is placed on hold, it is not debited from your account. It is merely reserved, the hold is at times automatically released back in to your available balance and when this takes place you do not receive a sms notification, as this was not a payment into the account.
The funds fall back into your available balance adjusting it. The reversal will not appear on your statement. Only the debit for the invoice amount if applicable will appear. A request was sent through to the bank in order to confirm if the amount is still pending, however they have advised that the amount is no longer pending.
We suggest that you may contact your Bank as to enquire on the date that the hold was released.
