It is absolutely mind-blowing that a company can take a R1200 deposit and not refund the money for more than 25 days!<br> <br> And there is NOTHING you can do! I have called, emailed, called again and again and again. The Strand street team are so unhelpful it is scary.<br> <br> The first car I received was filthy. <br> <br> The joke with these big companies, is that if you don't drop the car back within the hour of the agreed time, you are in breach and there are consequences. But they can hold onto your R1200 for more than a month and after every single request, they refuse to assist and refund the money within 5 days as promised.<br> <br> An absolute disgrace. And I cannot do a thing!!!!<br> <br> RUN from AVIS!!! The corporate *******!
