My wife discovered that she had left her cellphone in our Avis rental car at George Airport shortly after we arrived back in Johannesburg.<br> <br> The very next morning I phoned the branch and explained the situation to Lester. He told me that he would investigate and call me back. A few minutes later Lester called me back and gave me the good news that they had found the phone. I asked him if he would mind covering it in bubble wrap and placing it in an envelope so that I could arrange for a courier to collect it. He was more than happy to do this and when I called him again a couple hours later to confirm the name of the courier and the estimated time of collection he said that it was ready for collection. <br> <br> In less than 48 hours from the time that my wife lost her phone, it was safely back in her hands in exactly the same condition that she left it in.
