Holding deposit not refunded after a month

I've rented a car from Avis in Port Elizabeth on 14-16 April as I always do and returned the car in the same way I've found it fully refueled also as I always do.... Normally I get the holding deposit after a day or two but for some reason it is not cleared in my account yet and it's 18 May today... That's a month and 2 days!!!!!!!

I did make contact with Avis and Xolani Klaas told I would receive my deposit back within 48 hours but as this was before a weekend I gave it till the Tuesday or Wednesday but its Friday again and nothing.

This is turning out to be a really bad experience as a frequent traveler normally need the holding deposit back to book the next trip.

Hope to have this resolved soon, as Avis has always been the best at what they do... Don't know what's going wrong now
