Holding deposit
Reservation :***4ZA4 Avis is giving me a run around with my holding deposit of an amount of R2771.25 when I have returned their vehicle on the 1st of May 2024. When I make follow-up they claim it was refunded and my bank doesn't have any record of that

Thank you for contacting us, please note that the reservation given was an insurance rental and credited,
with regards to the release of the auth, kindly note that when your bank releases your holding deposit, the money does not come back into your account as a credit but increases your available balance, you would not see the amount in your statement as money coming in.
Please contact your bank (authorization department) who will confirm when the amount was released back to you.
