Harass and Intimidate by AVIS
AVIS has continued to harass and intimidate me despite my extensive and good‑faith engagement with their staff, including executive‑level representatives, regarding an invoice that is highly exorbitant and materially misaligned with the quotation provided. The invoice further includes charges for items that are unrelated and irrelevant to the vehicle rental.

16 Apr 2026, 05:19I am again raising a dispute regarding the billing associated with the additional rental period.
I was quoted a rate of R300 per day for four additional days, amounting to R1,200. However, I have been billed R1,943.92 for this period, which exceeds the agreed amount.
Furthermore, an administration fee of R1,106.09 has been app**** without any prior disclosure, quotation, or contractual agreement. At no stage was this fee communicated to me, nor did I provide consent for such a charge. As a result, this fee is considered ********, uncontracted, and is disputed in full.
It is also important to note that the additional four-day rental period falls outside the scope of the insurance provider’s coverage, and therefore should not be attributed to or influenced by any insurance-related arrangements.
In summary, I have been billed R1,850.01 in excess of the amount contractually agreed upon.
I request a full review, correction of the invoice, and removal of all unauthorised charges with immediate effect.

21 Apr 2026, 05:17Being subjected to bullying and harassment by AVIS, while in the public displaying a highly professional image, is unacceptable and concerning. This behaviour does not align with reasonable customer service standards, and I would like to understand whether this reflects how AVIS chooses to engage with its customers.
