Going the extra mile

On Saturday, I left my glasses in the hire car and only realized that as I was about to board the plane, so I had less than 5 minutes to retrieve it. The young lady at Avis (Kimberley Airport) immediately phoned the depot and asked for it to be returned to the office. Unfortunately, I could not wait any longer and had to board.

Once seated on the plane, I decided to phone Avis to have the item sent to me by courier. To my surprise the air hostess brought the glasses to me at the back of the plane. It seems that it was a bit of a team effort by Avis and the friendly people at Kimberley Airport to return my glasses to me.

I'd like to thank the young lady at Avis as well as the staff at Kimberley Airport for going the extra mile on Saturday.
