Exploiting customers
Slightly cheaper rates but the business model relies on exploiting customers through other means. In my case and for the second time, arbitrarily charging ~R2,000 for a minor scratch which I was not aware of in addition to the 'admin fees' despite having bought insurance. I'll never use Avis in South Africa again.
