Dont rent a car from avis

I rentend a car from Avis as my vehicle went in for repairs. I had to pay a big deposit in rder to receive the car from Avis. I payed the deposit and took the car, the car was extremely dirty on the inside, so i sat on a towl just not to get my clothes dirty.

I then drove the car for two days and handed it in on the 19th of Jan. Till today i have not received my deposit back on the car as there is a problem according to Avis between there bank and my bank (absa) every day i phone in and ask what is the case with the deposit and the response i get is that they are sending an email to there bank to escalate the issue, and that the funds will reflect in my account the same evening. This has been going on for 4 days now. I am extremely disappointed with this service from Avis
