Don't ever use Avis!

I have no idea how they do business. I reserved a vehicle for 5 days. I was quoted and with they digital check-in confirmed that the amount was R 5'029.93. The day of picking up the vehicle I was informed that I needed 2 credit cards (not stated on the web site) and that I need to put up a deposit of R 10 000. None of which was communicated clearly. Not only this but the actual amount for the vehicle rental was R 7'040.59 but I was charged R 9'191.66!

That's a lot more than the R 5'029.93 quote. I have to submit a dispute form to my bank to get the deposit hold released. Zero customer care!
