Does Avis still 'Try Harder'?

Through my Discovery policy, I get free car rental for month in the event of an incident. When you collect the Avis car you have to pay a R2500 deposit. They promise to pay this back within 7 working days once the car is returned. This is the second time I am having to fight with Avis to get my deposit back. I had a recent claim on my daughter's car which was returned on 19 June and still no sign of my deposit. Such appalling administration and customer service. Let's see if this gets someone's attention.
