Do not rent with this Company (AVIS Car Rental)

I have rented a car with AVIS car rental in Bloemfontein Airport last month. Basically, I rented this car for a month, i.e., from 4th April 2022 to 04th May 2022. While renting this car, plus or minus R12900 was reserved from my account by AVIS. Then I returned the car on the 4th of May 2022, with a full tank, so five days later I called Avis trying to find out how much amount will be deducted from my account, so I was informed about the amount, which included the fuel, which thought I filled it up and this has a great inconvenience as I had to leave the office to get clarity from Avis regarding the unjustified deductions. The manager said the Engen garage petrol attendant might not have filled it completely. So, he said he will return the incorrectly deducted fuel amount. Then, on the 10th May I received a deduction of R2243.73. Later, on the 11th of May I received a statement of R15102.73. Now today (14th May 2022), the R15102.73 has been deducted from account, meaning I have been over charged with an extra of R2243.73 for not proper reason, this has really created a serious inconvenience to me. I tried to call Avis today and they said they will find out what happened, and, in the meantime, I have seriously been inconvenienced and according to them, I will have to wait for 72hours for a refund, while it was easy for them to take my money in a split second from my account. The frustration is that Avis makes these mistakes and yet I must be the one following them all the time.
