DISHONEST AVIS

I rented a Suzuki Dzire from Avis King Shaka airport in October 2023. I returned the car with a full tank of petrol. They still charge me for 43 litres of petrol but the Suzuki only ha a 37 litre tank After numerous emails back and forth and telephone calls to the call centre and than speaking to the supervisor the fuel charges were removed leaving only R69.00 for toll fees which I EFT'd even though they had a hold on my credit card.

I again rented a Kia Seltos in May 2024. I returned the car with full tank of petrol and as clean as I had picked up from King Shaka airport.

The official checked the car and assured me everything is fine. I get back home and a few days later I get an invoice for R650.00 for valet.

I am now handed over to attorneys for the rental in October.

Totally disappointed because I have been renting vehicles from Avis for the last 23 years.
