Dishonest Avis

The day before lockdown I return my AVIS vehicle.I had the vehicle for 2 days. The Avis assistant walked to the vehicle bent on his knees and looked under the car. He said that there were scratches. I told him that when I took the vehicle nobody looked under the car and the vehicle was dirty. The assistant said that I must write everything down and he will speak to the manager. In May month I started to ask about my deposit. Avis came back and said I must pay R1940 for the damages on the car and they will keep my deposit. I send them an email and asked for the proof of the damages and the invoice that the vehicle was repaired. They send me photos of the vehicle where the front bumper had more damages on than the day I returned the vehicle. Up until today I have not receive any proof that the vehicle was repaired. I also spoke to the manager at Avis Nelspruit and he said that he will come back to me with the file and customers who rented the vehicle before me. I never heard from him again. Instead I'm getting threats that AVIS will hand me over to Debt collectors. Realy highly upset with AVIS and NOBODY to come back to me.
