Disgusting service

On arriving at cape town airport on the 13th December at night around 21h00 i rented a car from AVIS car rental.

Upon collecting the car I spoke to a consultant at the office who handed me the keys I asked him are we not doing the inspection and signing of the inspection. The guy advise it's not necessary as it was late.

When returning the car a lady came straight to the door saying here is a dent I got out of the car and I told her that this is the condition I found the car in and she advised please make a note of it which I did.

Three days later , guess what AVIS debited my account with extra R1500 for dent damage and admin fees saying there's a dent on the car. After explaining and asking for proof that the car was given to me without a dent or any scratches or any document I signed that it was collected without any dents or scratches, Instead I was told that they sent it for 3 inspections an all 3 inspections was cleared but all 3 does not included one with the client.

They claiming now I had damaged the car I feel like i have been sabotaged. I am not willing to leave this as is. I request the signing inspection that they didn't do and also the guy that handed me the key should represent it because me as the client asked about it so if I didn't asked for that he wouldn't have even mentioned the inspection.

So when you collect the car no inspection is done with the client to confirm the condition of the car only when you return it they wanna inspect it which is not fair inspection should be done when you collect it aswell.
