didnt keep records of damages now debitting my acc

I have an insurance with MIway, was involved in an accident then the car went to the penal beaters, I was advised to go to Avis for car rental since im paying for the courtesy car.went to Avis in sandton and paid deposit of R1200, was told it refundable when I return the car.a black tall guy came help me to check for the damages before I left and he spotted some scratches then called another indian guy to take note of the sratches.when I return the car I was 1st told that I will het the refund in 48 hours, that was not explained to me, I asked to see the manager because I wanted the money immediately.the manager then called the bank and the money was refunded back to me, before I leave I was told there are damages in the car, I said the damages were marked before I take the car, so they gave me a paper to write it down and sign, then I left.2 days later I received calls that the car was not returned, I told them to stop bothering me and double check, 2nd call same thing, 3rd call we received the car but with damages.i then explained again.im receiving calls almost everyday and now they debited R1200 from my bank acc, I WANT THIS TO BE RECTIFIED. I will never refer anyone to AVIS
