DEPOSIT THEFT FOR ALLEGED DAMAGE TO RENTAL VEHICLE.

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE. They took my deposit and then charged me for damages to the car that I know for a fact was not there. I had the car spring cleaned before I dropped the car off at the panel beaters and personally checked the car while they washed it to make sure it doesn't get damaged. When I left the rental car for them to collect, I went around the car, checked everything again. There was NO damage to that car, it was in PERFECT condition. They phoned me and told me there was a dent on the fender. They are holding my deposit of R1 350 back and now they want me to pay in more to apparently fix the car. I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR FROM AVIS AGAIN, specially after I saw I wasn't the only person who had the same issue.
